President’s Patter, Jan 2023

Wishing a very happy new year to you all and I hope you had a relaxing break over January and the holiday period .

Our December concert was well supported and a diverse lineup of excellent performers made for a great open mic evening.

Some well known faces, including three of our hard working committee members Mike Baines, Bill Vella and Vince Cabrera took to the stage along with ex committee members Tim Thorpe and Wilson Murdoch .

We enjoyed all the musicians and give thanks to them all, Vikki Clayton from the Kapiti Coast, Robyn Lynn Trio, John Ristau and Dave Knabbs.

We welcomed three new faces: SHAN (Shan Jordan accompanied by Giacomo Caleffi) and Peter Quinn.

Great talent and energies, and we can’t wait to invite them back to perform again this year .

A fantastic year of Tuesday club night concerts lies ahead and we kick off this month with Krissy Jackson Duo, supported by Jane Cameron ,from Australia, No Man’s Heath ,and Wandering Thyme.

Great variety ,and exceptional music promised.
