Town & Country Aotearoa

Live on air from 9 – 11pm every Monday

Hosted for 25 years by Eddie O’Strange, Eddie takes a country road through kiwiana, Americana, folk, country, bluegrass, Appalachian, and western swing. Music from the early 1920s to present day.

The show is repeated from Friday midnight until 2am Saturday.

The programme is followed by an hour of   "The Best of Bluegrass" hosted by Trevor Ruffell

The AR Open Mic at the Office in Newtown is a regular feature, with Newtown Acoustic Sound hosting the other weekly sessions. Just south of the intersection with Rintoul St. It’s a very good space for live music, with food and drink available from the bar downstairs.

Roseneath School Hall. Access is down a short lane off the street (Maida Vale), next to a church and a small row of shops. There’s parking in the school grounds and the number 14 bus goes right past.
