President’s Patter, November 2019

Greetings one and all,

Hard to believe this is our second to last newsletter for the year. Promise I won't mention Snoopy's Christmas or Jingle Bells even if it is ...days till ….....

Looking back we have had quite a year with a great variety of musical genres. I continue to be amazed at how fortunate we are to have such a pool of talented musicians at our disposal.

Our thanks to the first half performers last month and to Charlotte and Show Pony as our main guests delighting us with their wonderful lyrics and harmonies.

This month Legal Tender return much to our delight and will be supported by Blakewater Blues, Bill Vella Band and Wilson Murdoch and Kevin Meehan.

A reminder that December will be an Open Mic evening with a Beatles theme so bring along a couple of your favourite tunes, one to include a Beatles number. Please advise a committee member if you would like to perform or email us at info@mainlyacoustic.co.nz, all proceeds to Child Cancer research.
